I hide my head in my folded arms on the table. What was I doing? These guys were bigger than me now. They weren't just my boys anymore, like they'd been in the beginning. Back when I'd help them make shitty t-shirts just to get their name out there. It wasn't a long phase, but it was an easy one. Back when I'd be at all the tiny shows, full of bored kids who were just there for something to do on a weekend night. Watching the looks on people's faces change when they realized my boys were any good.

I blink my eyes open and yawn. I rub my eyes and look around. Sweater was nowhere to be seen. My heart skipped a beat before my brain kicked in and told me she was probably in the bathroom or something. I flop my head back on the pillow and sigh happily. It was nice to have Sweater back in my life.

I sighed, wondering if Patrick really even wanted me back. He was always the kind of kid who would pretend to make someone feel better. Especially with the night I'd had last night.

I turned over and sighed into my pillow. I was happy. Courtney made me happy. Of course, playing every day for people who actually liked the music made me happy, but Courtney made it better.

I flipped open my phone and began going through my messages that I'd missed. A whole bunch of "Sorry", "I love you", and "Please come home" messages from Jason, and a missed call from each of my brothers.

I walk up to Courtney and hug her from behind and kiss her cheek. "What's up, babe?" I say, before grabbing a box a cereal.

My stomach fluttered a little bit as Patrick kissed me on the cheek. I smiled softly at him.
"Did last night really happen?" I ask with a laugh. Of course we'd manage to have a night that was so crazy it seemed impossible, and not have sex. After all, we were Patrick and Courtney.
