I walk over to the milk stuff and grab the 2% and the whole milk. "Which one do you think?"

I shrugged and put the 2% in the cart. "Do you want any cupcakes? I'll pay for them! And not just because they're on sale."

I cringe a little at the 2% milk. "Uh, no thanks," I say, embarrassed. "Not really hungry."

After we'd checked out, I loaded the groceries into Patrick's car. "We need to drop these off, but do you want to get coffee afterwards?"
